Going upside down is not necessary for doing yoga, BUT aside from the physical benefits, it can help to encourage a sense of play and adventure, discovering what you are capable of, exploring your limits, getting out of your comfort zone, releasing self-limiting beliefs, increased confidence . . . and more!
In this workshop we will start with drills to prepare us to go upside down. I will give you tips on how you can go about it safely and mindfully. If you can already stand on your head, I'll also show you different ways to get upside down from different poses with different leg variations. We will also look at forearm stand PINCHA MAYURASANA which is a much challenging pose as your head is lifted off the ground. PLEASE BRING SOCKS!
